Pray Silence Festival + Late 2010
I am immensely excited to announce that, thanks to the kind folks at Pray Silence Productions, I have just confirmed my first gig for 2011: the 3 day long Pray Silence Festival, which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from August 26-28, 2011. For years, I've wanted to break into the European festivals, and after years of working as hard as I can, it means so much to me to see this dream finally be realized. When I first started DJing, I sure as hell didn't think that would ever happen and the fact that it did is rather... surreal. But in the best way possible :) I'm thrilled that my first festival involves sharing a bill with not only some great friends, but a number of artists I enjoy and admire. This will also be my very first visit to Portugal, so even with over a year to go, I can't wait!
In the meantime, the second half of 2010 certainly has a lot to be excited about. Folks in and around Austria will be seeing a lot of me and not only in Vienna! This fall, I'm booked both in Salzburg and Klagenfurt for the first time and looking forward to having a chance to play in other parts of Austria. The Austrian scene as a whole, Vienna in particular, has truly come to feel like home over the past year and a half and it's always an honor for me to be able to work at such high quality events and with truly talented DJs and bands. Hopefully there will also be exiting happenings to announce within Philadelphia and the Northeast as the year gradually draws to a close. Whatever happens, you can be sure to find info here.

Club Pi, Vienna's premier dark alternative club, presents the 2010 edition of its annual gothic "beach" party: Schwarzer Strand. DJs Totentanz and Thomas Rainer will be on hand to provide the soundtrack to the one summertime party you can enjoy without having to brave the sweltering July sun. Expect nothing less than top quality industrial dance music as well as favorites new and old from a variety of dark styles (and perhaps some surprises to go along with the theme of the evening). Though having fun with the theme is encouraged, beach/seaside attire is not required for entry.

Every first Friday, the Cyber edition of Club Pi's Exit series has something special to offer for those who like their beats hard and fast. While Exit:Cyber shares some common ground with its famous sister event, Schwarzflug, the focus is on Hard Dance, Hardstyle, and similar electronic styles rather than industrial-based artists. DJs Totentanz and Pink Foamy will team up for an evening that's bound to be both high-energy and very fun. Make sure you're ready to dance! Cyber attire is welcome (and will get you free entry all night) but not required.

While the name/theme of this Saturday special event at Club Pi has not yet been determined, it's bound to be a quite a party. DJ Totentanz will be sharing the decks with DJ Sonoir and with a team like that, you know it's gonna be good. Once any sort of theme or special details regarding this event have been figured out, they'll be posted here right away. No matter what happens or what the focus, we can guarantee you'll dance your ass off.

Since 2007, Electronic Fallout has been working to bring top-quality live acts and DJs from within Austria and abroad to Klagenfurt. This event has been growing steadily since it began, proving that while Carinthia may not be the biggest name in the dark scene, it's not an area to overlook. The November edition sees the return of Industrial-Metal favorites Hanzel Und Gretyl and the first-ever Klagenfurt appearance of DJ Totentanz, who will be joining resident DJ Tumor behind the decks for the evening. In August of 2011, the Pray Silence Productions team presenst a 3 day long celebration of dark music and culture that is certainly the largest of its kind in Portugal and in Iberia as a whole. With the city of Lisbon as its backdrop, PSF welcomes a score of top international acts from all dark styles (CLAN OF XYMOX, NACHTMAHR, UBERBYTE, TYSKE LUDDER, ORDO ROSARIUS EQUILIBRIO, DIARY OF DREAMS, and many more) and top scene DJs to keep the parties raging until dawn. The Pray Silence Festival marks the debut of DJ Totentanz both in Portugal and, as it stands now, on the European Festival circuit.
